Adidas X Jeremy Scott X A$AP Rocky

She said she want that pretty flocka !!!!! Today Jeremy Scott, and Adidas released the Sneak Peek image for their new project with rapper A$AP Rocky for the Js Wings 2.0. Jeremy Scott is one of my favorite designers and who doesn't love Jeremy Scott but the Black Flag sneakers which have an all black canvas and high top with the infamous jeremy wing everyone loves on "the new improved classic Adidas" some would say. I love that the shoe is covered with leather LUXE and some of you maybe asking well where does A$AP come into play. The Harlem rapper touch comes by way of embroidered five-point stars, this is also a nod to the A$AP Mob black and white American flag. I know for a fact that these will sale out once they hit store's all Jeremy's shoe's now go once they hit stores. There is also talk of the release date being this coming Fashion Week which is next week. I guess we have to wait and see. It's crazy how I'm not a big sneaker head anymore like I use to be.

Frank Tropiano SS14

PARSONS SCHOOL OF DESIGN! Has the most amazing designers and they are the ONE'S TO WATCH FOR. With that being said I recently came across designer Frank Tropiano new SS 14 women's collection which has finally been unveiled. I also am friends with Tropiano on facebook as well to and I've been seeing behind the scenes pictures everywhere which got me excited and wanting to pull the collection for a shoot. I also wore his furry sweater like shorts a few weeks back from his fall collection (http://askiaabdull.blogspot.com/2013/07/high-end-harlem.html).

CHARLI BALTIMORE HARD 2 KILL LISTENING EVENT

" You gotta excuse the absence "(in my Charli Balitmore voice) The Grammy nominee Rapper and Song writer Charli Balitmore is back with her own recored label called BMB ENT. and also giving us a full set of music from her new mix-tape entitled " Hard 2 Kill ". You may remember her from the label Murder Inc Recored's ( Later changed to The Inc.) Featured on songs like " Down A** Chick " one of my favorite song " Down 4 you ". Nonetheless I attended the Artist  Private Listening party tonight at The Platinum Sound Studio Hosted by Editor in Chief of Hip Hop Weekly Cynthia Horner. As the party was starting to come to an end Charli came to the mic to share with us her new video for the single  BMB featuring TRICK TRICK who was also at the event as well. Check out the pictures I took and also the music video as well. I am excited for Charli Balitmore return to the rap game we have missed her we need her back in the game now to give a little of that old hard hip hop flow we all loved from her. Definitely well be getting this mix-tape loved each and every song on the album.

AFRO PUNK FEST 2013

I felt as if I was on set of the Poetic Justice movie!! I haven't been to a big festival like this since I left California as a Teenager. My first year at Afro Punk which was held in the Commodore Barry Park in Brooklyn ( I love brooklyn ). For some reason I always forget I have a camera in my hand or in my bag so I can snap images for you guys on my blog so you kind of miss the good moments but I still some how get a few for you. Actually never been in a park let alone just a place full of fashionable African Americans and they are just having fun. I loved every moment of it.

CANDICE SWANEPOEL FOR VOUGE MEXICO

I came across this spread of model Candice Swanepoel (some of you may know her from the Victoria Secret runway shows.) In the September Issue, well I'm sorry on the Cover of Vogue Mexico. I haven't really done a spread post in a very long time my first one was actually on Candice as well (http://askiaabdull.blogspot.com/2013/05/candice-swenpoel-in-wild-cat.html). I have always been a big fan of the IMG model and every image I see of her I love her more and more and with this issue as you can see from the behind the scenes video above Vogue Mexico is playing no games with this Sizzling Hot New York love story.

MTV 2013 VMA'S

I can actually say I enjoyed the Mtv Video Music Awards which was held at The Barclays Center in Brooklyn. No I actually didn't attend the award show but I will one day :(. The show started off witht he red carpet per- show. Here are my top 5 and a few other talked about look on twitter, instagram and facebook.

NO TIME OFF!!!

"I've been up all night, tryin to get that rich.... I've been WORK, WORK ,WORK, WORKING ON MY ................." I recently went back to Atlanta just to get some winter to clothes because I have decided to stay for the rest of the year. I've been getting a lot of work so why not :).. On my trip back to Atlanta I did nothing but work, taking care of emails for fashion Week and future shoots and also setting up shoots in Atlanta as well. It was actually fun going back for those few days seeing family and old and new friends. I met with a good friend of mine photographer Eleet to do a personal shoot for myself, which the images came out amazing loved them all. Seeing I never like any pictures from any of my shoots, I thought he did an amazing job of shooting me. I actually didn't stop there.

BACK TO BASICS

I know it's been a little minute actually since you all seen me. I have been busy, busy BUSY!!! I've been at work rebuilding my styling portfolio, I did my last shoot yesterday for Seventribesmag.com check it out can't wait to show you all the the images from all the recent shoots I've done so excited. This day I was in Soho kind of by Canal street. I was going to see the Rick Owens exhibit. I missed the opening of it last month. The store is really nice but didn't get to see the exhibit that day. Nonetheless today I wore my black brim hat and gold frame shades which are now like my favorite glass's to wear. Also had on an olive green shape print short sleeve button down I got a thrift store and some tannish brown shorts with a sea shell print I also got from the same thrift store. I think you guys all know I love prints and mixing them also wore my favorite sandals as well.

 As Lady Gaga " LIVES FOR THE APPLAUSE " The world is living for Lady Gaga. With Gaga already covering the latest Issue of women's wear daily ( www.com ) with the reveal of her album for her come back with " Art Pop ". Gaga has been at work nonstop ( claps hands ) and shot a 4 cover stories with V magazine. It honestly should be called Gaga mag I feel she has the most covers then any other artist. With the 4 covers she wanted it to be about her life and her art.

Celine Pre-Fall 2013 Collection

Let's talk about Celine's Pre- Fall collection, Phoebe never disappoints and also stays on trend! With the pre-fall collection Phoebe toyed with a little of traditional ideas of shape, and tailoring things I love in a collection. The look book started off with an menswear inspired double breasted suit with shinny and gold plated dress shoe's you will see throughout the collection also a few platforms. This is actually one of my favorite pre fall women's collections, oversized structure chic and still fashion forward . The designer gave you different types of men inspired looks like jump suits, suits, and oversized coats. She also infused lots of feminine pieces like the three quarter length pleated leather skirts, leather peplum long sleeve shirt and even the oversized like elbow length fitted leather dress pieced with a big gold pirate belt. the designer added tones of bags and hats ,and more pleated skirts and also oversized wool coat. Celine is the perfect fashion forward street style fashion week collection in my eyes love it.

DR MARTEN "WHAT DO YOU STAND FOR"

I had a long day of pulling garments and meeting with designers for all the past shoots I did this weekend, but someway somehow I had to make my way to the Dr Martens AW13 Campaign Launch party. As I walked into the 90s tracks of Blondie playing on the turn tables of Melo X held in the Dr Martin showroom. I was in heaven with all the British Iconic shoes scattered all around, so many new styles of doc's spiked, glitter , patent leather, plaid, snake skin, and clear Dr Martens of all kinds.( I LOVE DR MARTENS) The night was full of music, beautiful people, fun and DOC'S.  Julian Thomas a publicist at the Exposure showroom managed to keep us all entertained with The Bosco who provide us with a photo-booth we all enjoyed and also street artist Nephilim Giant of Street Savvy New York transforming doc's in the back room and fish & chips along with british beer, seeing that Dr Marten is an British brand. I enjoyed my night of fun meeting and connecting new bloggers, stylist and other publicist.
