Olcay Gulsen ss14

I had chance to attend ( 10/29/13 ) Olcay Gulsen spring/summer 2014 press day.the event was full of great music and also cocktails :). I have to say ladies this is a collection you must have. Olcay collection is amazing and so fashion forward from the gowns with amazing details, the backless dresses in so many versions and colors. She wanted her girl to be very chic and sexy loved each and every pieces just get into the two piece suit that is also backless, and these lovely jumpers. How can I forget the shoe collection from boots with cut outs, to the snake skin like peep toe booties. If you are a fan of high high heels Olcay Gulsen is definitely your go to designer.

Cold & Styling

Today's look I didn't wanna be to layered cause I was doing returns and kind of walking the city sometimes I get really hot and even tired fast and yes I said I get hot even though it is very cold. What I wore was a scarf from Urban Outfitters watch I actually can't stop wearing lol, I also wore my favorite denim trench I picked up from Value Village another one of my favorite thrift stores in Atlanta. In a few other pictures you can see my kind draped shirt from Asos's and my watch is from Timex nice like fall piece I can easily wear with anything which I love. I also wore these snakes skin Zara Basic pants which are from Beacon's closet a thrift store here in New York, I went to the one in Willamsburg  they have tones of great pieces and I also wore my wing tip Dr martens.

Lately I have been such the social guy and running around to event after event. Last night I took it back to Aldo and I got a chance to attend wardrobe stylist and blogger Kade relaunch event for her fashion & lifestyle blog www.Kadesmode.com watch I can't wait to see. Such an cute amazing girl love running into new fun bloggers and stylist.

Vans OTW 2013 Holiday Prelow " Leopard Camo "

I got my Vans on and they actually look like sneakers. Coming from California I have always been a really big Vans head but I kind of shied away from them over the recent years something more in my teen years but now they are back with a new style of shoe which also is a big trend in men and women shoe's the running shoe. I actually think I will be getting these I have been looking for a good fashionable comfortable sneaker since I'm this big New Yorker now I think the OTW Vans Prelow " Leopard Camo " running shoe is prefect and it's a how new silhouette for Vans I think this shoe will be big for the brand. It also comes in Blue, orange and olive colorway as well definitely a must have for the season.

Elle Presents Preen x Aldo Rise

I had the chance last night (10/25/13) to attend the Elle Magazine Aldo Rise Fall/Winter women shoe collection. All the heels were amazing and had such a edge to them with the double strap buckles on the ankle booties, also with this amazing what they call a shootie which had a triple strap. I don't if I ever really seen like a cut out heel bootie but I think think it's definitely a must have for the season, also this point toe ankle strap pumps. All the heel had like a leather detailing but all came three different colors of suede . Ladies these are amazing heels so run over to Aldo nooooooowww these are also while supplies last once they are gone they gone, you can't order no where else not even online so get them now hurry :).

Also spent the day with my love who is also a publicist Olivia Walker.

Rihanna For GQ Magazine

Omg!! We all can scream now. Just in time for Halloween, I haven't even found my costume yet but clearly Rihanna has as Medusa for the new cover of British GQ magazine . You guys may not know but I looooooovvvvvveeeeee RIHANNA let me stop. The world's most successful pop icon Rihanna has once again covered the Issue of GQ magazine but this time for their 25th anniversary issue for October. I can't stop gagging!! This is such a great Collaboration with Damien Hirst one of the world's most highly acclaimed living artist. I can't wait to see the spread these two great firebrands created.

Fall In Love

I know you all know by now I love fall. My style definitely comes alive in fall so many looks I can do from furs to over size coats and TOOOOONNNNESSSS of layering which I love. With what I wore today I have been doing something a little different this season by adding prints to my wardrobe that's why I went with wearing my black H&M scarf pairing it with a camouflage All-Son brand vest from Urban Outfitters over this OBEY tribal print sweat shirt like crewneck top also from Urban as well. I forgot all about my brand new Fossil messager bag ,also with an camouflage print on it and I wore this Rude denim D.I.Y. jeans from Hot Topic over some cotton tribal print leggings and yes I said leggings with a Old Navy denim rip shirt tied around my waist. My accessories Homburg hat I got from a thrift store also picked up my flip shades from a street vendor I always love them even though they aren't designer frames they are still really amazing. Also I wore my new watch from Timex I actually am in love with this watch thank you Timex.

Bon-Ton Preview

Yesterday I got to attend ( 10/23/13 ) The Bon-Ton preview featuring the Spring 2014 private brand collections for John Barlett (men wear), Ruff Hewn ( Men & Women wear), and Laura Ashley ( Women wear). I have been looking around to doing more features on " My Life & Fashion " of easy affordable causal wear that style can have a little pop, edge and also detail to it things I love but at the same time not to much and all the spring collections I viewed are just that. I also got to chance to meet with every designer which was awesome cause I got to get the real scoop on the collections.

Luxe Boutique

Ladies today I wanted to give you guys a Boutique feature a lot of women are always asking where can they go shop for new fashionable pieces to add to their wardrobe but not pay a arm and a leg just to get it and I thought Luxe Boutique would be the perfect feature.

WHO IS JOHN MAC??

A feature that has been long over due. One of my top favorite Atlanta menswear designers Drea Will of New Apparel Co has released her new men ss14 collection " Who Is John Mac " and it is my life I love each and every piece from this collection from the oversized T-shirts with the New Apparel Co stamp at the bottom, to the prints, shapes and colors she used for the collection just amazing. I love when designers think outside the box when it comes to menswear this is what I'm here for. I also got the scoop on the collection from Drea herself check out my Q&A below and also more images of the collection.

Preview Prints

As you all know I love prints and I have been wanting to wear these printed slacks I got from H&M. I have actually worn them another time in another post when I first came to New York about 5 months ago. God time fly's but I pieced the pants with this black white floral and polka dot printed pattern short sleeve button up I have been trying to wear a different way forever. How could I forget my trademark (lol) I'm wide brim hat I have not worn in ages welcome back. I also wore this amazing Theodore Alexander leather jacket from his Fall collection with my wing tip Dr. martens.

PRESS! PRESS! PRESS! It's that time of the season for New York where all the emerging designers are putting their final looks together on their collections. Which means for me new pulls and also new content for " My Life & Fashion.

Keeping It Casual

It actually feels like forever since I have posted anything like almost a week. I really am going to try and be on my A game from now on so sorry guys. I'm always on and off and with all this shooting I have been doing I really just been grabbing and going and running out the door. I honestly don't really care how I look anymore as long as I'm comfortable I'm fine. New York has really made me a busy body. I guess I got what I wish for. lol!!!

Chelsea Bravo Dysfuction Collection

  The other night me and a good friend mine Raymond Gee (Styling and Starving ) came across menswear designer Chelsea Bravo's new "DYSFUCTION COLLECTION" I was so amazed by her first collection I had to feature it on " My Life & Fashion". The collection is very geometric and Central Africa inspired, this is right up my alley I love each and every piece of this collection it's not very colorful nor is it very printed like most African collections you see now. I love that she went with colors like beige, cream, grey and white. Chelsea gave us something very traditional and still modern and fresh. I can see a lot of men now wearing a few of these pieces like the jump suits, crop like coats and a few of the tops. Definitely want all 3 hats, the beige and white jumper and the grey and cream coat crop top jacket also. Love the collection Chelsea can't wait for the next one!

Layer Deep

It's definitely layer season which is my favorite time of the year I feel I come alive and fashionable  once fall hits. I can give some many different looks and also I love love love to wear coats, jackets and furs. What I wore was my brown top hat from Heritage 1981. I have actually had this hat forever but I don't really wear it so I decide to this day. I also wore this army fatigue sweater hoodie jacket from American Eagle and also a denim button up and True Religion t-shirt and I tied this flannel button around my waist from from Haupt shirts and also wore some brownish pants I got on sale at H&M and also checkered red and white socks with my wing tip Dr Martens.

Sixteen Years Of LV

Who would have thought after sixteen years of transforming the staid luggage brand into a global fashion brand Marc Jacobs would say good bye to Louis Vuitton, don't worry to much he's not actually leaving the fashion world he just wants to focus more on his own brand which I think is great.I love Marc Jacobs collections but I don't feel it's as amazing as what he makes for LV but let's take a look at sixteen years of MJ and LV.
