It's definitely time for the holiday season and I'm loving every bit of it. I have been dressing very casual lately and going with a lot of accent fall colors, patterns and also fabrics  like browns, mustard's,plaids and denims. I can't wait to winter is actually here so I can turn up the volume.

Hickies

Just in time for the holidays, as you may have seen I have been wearing this elastic shoe laces lately called Hickies which I love. With that being said I was invited to Hickies Holiday Gift Guide rooftop party. Who doesn't love a rooftop party with free drinks and gifts (LOL!) also great music by DJ OMG. I met tones of bloggers, publicist, and designers which was great. It's so crazy how I'm here in New York just living it up wow!! Thank god everyday for this blessing in my life. Nonetheless I attend the party with a good friend of mine Barrington Elite (Singer Artist) we got tones of great gifts from Hickies like shoes lace, jansport goods and also a few amazing pieces from Second Sunday great brand of menswear and also womens. love everything Thanks HICKIES!!

Top 5 Men Boots Picks

This Fall season is all about new and different styles of BOOTS!! 

Now that I live in New York I have been such a big fan of various types of boots and with it getting more into the fall/winter season.

 I thought I would give you my Top 5 boot choices for men.

Early Bird

 

I wanted to keep it really causal with my look. I just knew I was going to be late this menswear breakfast and trying to throw on a lot of dressy menswear pieces wasn't going to work.

Tumblr x Hickies

So today I woke up super early, something I haven't done in forever. I was attending the Hickies Holiday menswear informational breakfast held at the Tumblr headquarters. If your not familiar with Hickies. Hickies is an elastic lacing system that replaces traditional shoelaces and lets youeasily slip in and out of your shoes while keeping them snug and secure. They also come in 16 colors with 2 units being of an different color. I got to meet a few menswear bloggers as well and also the founder of tumblr Valentine Uhovski. OMG!! I even got to taste these amazing doughnuts called Glazzants which were flown in from Grand Junction, Co from a bakery called Raise n' Glaze I had the chocolate glazed with strawberry jelly not a big fan of chocolate like that but I LOOOOOVVVVVVEEED IT!!!! Definitely I to find this place in New York. 

Stomping Prints

" WHAT I WORE " was a black beanie and white frame sunglasses I got from a street vendor, also threw on my leather biker jacket I got at thrift store back in Atlanta, with this floral Polk-dot pattern button up I also got from the thrift store. Really need to find some good thrift stores in New York. I hear Jersey has amazing thrift stores. I also tied a wool black, grey and white sweater around my waist and wore these splattered paint pants I got from Tripp nyc and I also wore my all white Dr Marten and my Hickies laces

Walking Denim

I'm such a big lover of denim and that's why I went with this full denim on denim with a mixture of other little simple details. I wanted to keep it really casual with this look but still be very warm and comfortable. I wore a wool beanie which is great to wearing during the fall in New York pretty much the only thing that stays on my head in the city with all these strong winds. Also threw on my wooden police tint shades from DEXspecs. Even though it is really cold right now and at any moment it could snow that is really how cold it is to me . I went with just wearing this denim long sleeve button up I got from Old Navy long ago and pieced it with a aqua green vest with a tartan print detailing on the inside from H&M also my navy and tan belt is from H&M as well Also used a another I pad case from Ecoalf as a clutch, how some of these cases are two in one. I wore my rude denim dark denim jeans from Hottopic. Clearly as you can see I love HotTopic that is the only place I would buy the same jeans over and over from love the fit of there jeans and my leather and leopard print creepers are from TUK.

Falling For You

This is actually my first fall in New York and I'm loving every minute of it. For my look I wanted to be some type of dressed up but still comfortable but fashion forward, I had a Salvatore Ferragamo (one of my favorite designers) watch preview I was going to.

I had A chance to attend the Details Magazine and Salvatore Ferragamo  Men's timex collection launch party held at Bloomingdales. The event was pretty amazing food and drinks and music my type of party. Loved the atmosphere very stylish crowed of gentlemen and also women. For the Ferragamo watch collection they previewed The F-80  three Classic sporty watches .

Giuseppe Zanotti Mens Fall

For fall it is all about making the right statement and I'm all about a good statement piece. I have been looking for the right shoe to feature here on My Life & Fashion and I think I've found the prefect fall shoe and a few bags as well I like from the Giuseppe Zanotti men fall collection. 

I Was Here

Trying to find something to wear can be really hard sometimes, even if you have a full closet of clothes well in my case a suitcase and a bag full. Lol I have been trying to keep it really casual lately but I guess I still get a little creative with what I wear. I still love to have a little statement piece with my look.
