Challenge Challenge Challenge!!!

I was asked recently by Vegas.com to participate in the #MyVegasStyle blog challenge. Which I thought to myself " CHALLENGE, UGH! I SUCK AT CHALLENGES."(lol) When it comes to style I'm A pro at expressing myself.. For the Challenge I was asked to see my take on a day at Aria Resort and Casino one of the premier hotel in Las Vegas. I'm really good at visualizing so I google Aria Hotel in Vegas which I never been read up on it and research street fashion in the area and got a idea of my looks I wanted to do for a day at Aria.

With my sense of style I'll pretty much fit right in but I wanted to change it up a little and just keep it cool, simple but still fashion forward. I wanted to balance out the way I mix prints and patterns together, so I went with more basic but detailed pieces from some of my favorite stores like Zara,Topman, H&M and even a few brands I've been working with like Proof eyewear , and HICKIES . Check out the way my looks transition though out the day and tell me what you think.

As of lately New York weather, well let's just say it's been looking really sunny in Harlem. I am such a fan of great sunny weather seeing that I am from California. I wish we have more day's like this and always keep this warm cool weather during the summer.

The Show at F.I.T

I had the chance to attend a all men's fashion show at F.I.T. Which was put together by a good friend of mines Roberto Johnson and a few other of F.I.T. students for their final project which was pretty dope, I honestly never get to see any of the amazing designers work that come out of F.I.T. so I already thought this would be exciting.

Breath Of Fresh Air

New York has definitely open my eye more to fashion. I'm always looking to try new things and push myself to wear just about anything. I'm not one to really plan out my looks from day to day, I mostly just go with the flow of things or just dress the way I feel whatever day.

With what I wore today. I did want to keep it a little simple nothing to much but I did wanna have a statement piece which is my Bomber kind of Versace like print jacket. I got this piece I've only really wore like twice from a Thrift shop back in Atlanta for like 3 or 4 dollars. Under I went with a denim on denim look. ( You guys already know I love denim ) My denim button up is from American Eagle and my levi's I actually cut into short shorts are from the thrift store.

Also wore these dope Scout Eco Proof eyewear shades ( Iwantproof.com ) with an urban outfitters watch and gold pinky rings from H&M. I guess you can say I wore to statements that day, my wing tip platform shoe's.

Best Dressed: Billboard Music Awards

Let's talk about Kendall Jenner, She wasn't playing this quarter when The New Face model of The Society NYC hit the red carpet in this swimsuit like shiny skinny pant jumpsuit from Olcay Gulsen spring summer 2014 collection ( you can also see and post on Olcay Gulsen collection when I attended the perview Click Here ) and a metallic Jimmy Choo clutch and metallic shoes. Great transformation they finally have her looking more like a model from the make up to the styling simple, sexy and chic. 

EASY STREET

oMG! It's been so long since I even mixed and matched anything. (I guess you can say coming from me that's crazy but really in my eye's I haven't) I thought I try it with my look. What I wore was a homburg hat I picked up at Forever21( Sold out online ). I'm such a hat lover if you couldn't tell by now. Also wore this squiggly, dotted, shape printed short sleeve button up I got from a thrift store actually one of my favorite shirts to wear, I thought it would make my outfit pop from the color scheme I choose for my look. I pieced everything together with these belt like suspenders I also got at a thrift store with some brownish pants from H&M which I got on sale! I also got my low top Dr marten spiked boots as well on sale from Century 21.

Crazy thing about Harlem is the fact that I live there but never really experienced it. I know I know your saying but " You live there why wouldn't you." I'm just always on the go and in the city. I decided to take to the streets and experience more of it. I found so many nice restaurants, parks and other little shops to shop at and finally got to see how beautiful Harlem is.

The Rebirth

I know I know it's been forever. Yes I have been saying that a lot lately. It's crazy how I've been in and out of focus with life and let alone blogging, we all have these moments in our life where we get unfocused guess I had mine so much has happen in the past eleven and half months since I moved to New York but I'm back and I can honestly say that now.

) I'm such a big fan of this amazing collaboration between the two brands. I decided to keep it simple and comfortably today with my look today. I wore an army fatigue bucket hat with a little pocket detail on the front of the hat which I got at c21stores.com and this multicolored card holder necklace from cresedim.com favorite korean brand I love. I also wore an white short sleeve button up I got at thrift store with this light blue Jbrandjeans.com denim jacket. I guess fatigue was my go to pieces for the day as you can see.
