Day Five: #5days5guys1iteam

We are finally at the end of the #5days5guys1iteam challenge. To give you a little refresh about tge challenge it is a restyle challenge where in this case five guys pick an item from their closets & restyle it for five days straight using the same piece , rather it's trousers which I picked, outerwear , shoes or accessories.
I actually had a lot of fun restyling my tartan trousers, I've been wanting to do an post where I show you how to style a piece from your closet in different ways.
My last look for the challenge I wore during a panel which featured June Ambrose, sorry didn't get pictures but I thought I share it with you all seeing that I wore the trousers.
I wore this wool tartan pattern coat I thrifted from Park Ave thrift store for only a dollar also a black roll neck shirt which is very trendy right now seeing that the biggest trend on yhe runways are tge 70s and as you can see I wore my tartan trousers also from the same thrift store. Wore my new Vierra water proof watch and finished it off with some cool casual Converse , I also added in black & white elastic Hickie laces.

Tom & Jerry

Hey guys hope all has been well. I've been really good lately , I also have so much to share with you guys that you will see soon.
In the meantime here is just a little post. I love going thrifting & vintage shopping As you can see from most blog post. This look today is thrifted from head to toe from my trucker hat to my Tom & Jerry Tshirt to the jacket & the denim jeans & even my tuk creepers. The look is actyally below $20 which is always a big plus for me.

Day four: #5days5guys1item

With Day four for the #5days5guys1iteam restyle challenge. I decided to do an grab & go look . Most times I'm always in a rush & running out the door & don't usually have the time to just sit & put together a look for myself.

I choose to wear my Chuck Quality goods " Cat Fight " strap back. I swear I wear this hat everyday lol. I also grabbed a pin stripe baseball jersey it seem like it would fit well with the tartan pattern on my trousers , so why not. What else I got thrifted this navy blue trench so long ago I never wore it & I thought the inside details were dope so took to wearing this as well as these little white creepers with black sole from Tuk.

Day Three : #5days5guys1item

So it's day three of #5days5guys1item style challenge & I actually can't believe I'm keeping with it. It's actually pretty fun & also interesting to restyle a pair of trousers & also see what the four other guys came up with restyling their one iteam.

With this look I still went for the causal look of dressing it down men are always thinking dressy when it comes to tailored trousers but I say dress it down & have fun with it.

What I wore was pork pie style hat, a camel trench coat with plaid/tarten detailing on the inside so prefect cuz if you are familiar with my style I love mixing around patterns.. I also wore a sleeve stripe 86 tshirt from Topshop & you know my trousers are thrifted. For an accessory I just went with my waterproof all black sports watch from vierrawatchs.com thanks again. For my final piece in are my shinny Jersey fabric slip ons I got from Payless..

Day two : #5days5guys1item

I guess you can say this style challenge is coming along well. I'm actually enjoying it so far , even though I keep hitting the twelve o'clock mark. Smh! I gotta do better.

Skipping over to my second look of restyle these Tartan pattern trousers I purchased at Parkavethrift.com outlet. (They were actually a good find & especially on a 50 cent day. If your a thrifter you know what I mean.) I wore well I started off with no hat, it's been so long since I went without wearing a hat in public just can't see myself with out one but clearly some how I slipped back on this Forever21 pork pie style hat. My whole consisted of more thrifted pieces also from Park Ave Thrift you can clearly see it's one of my favorite thrift stores. I pieced of my look with a camel wool coat I've been wanting one forever with this soccer tshirt which has all kind of symbols on it. I wanted to go for a more causal cool like playful look reason why I wore Jamaican color brown gum sole nikes.

Day One: #5days5guys1item

I'm always getting asked to be apart of challenges on instagram & usually I'm just always ignoring them. It just takes up to much time & sometimes I forget about posting or something just messes up.

This particular challenge I decided to be apart of called #5days5guys1item created by Oliver William ( http://anorexicescapades.com/ ) , where 5 creative guys restyle a favorite iteam from their closet, rather it's outer
wear, shoes, accessories, tshirts & in my case trousers.

I thought it was an great idea to bring fashionable men or even casual men together to restyle a iteam, people are always asking how can they wear a piece again but in a different way then the last time they wore it. I'm going to give you my take on it for 5 days.

READY SET GO!!!

Day one I took to piecing my dressy casual look with a all black H&M two button blazer. You can actually by this blazer as a suit . Another thrifty find was this long short sleeve button up that I pieced with mu tartan printed trousers I also thrifted from the same store Parkavethrift.com . I wore H&M socks & Chuck Taylor Converse I laced up with Hickies .
