Men Fall Fashion Trends 2014

Men here are some fashion trends and colors for the new season as seen on the runways for the fall. I tried my best to keep it simple but still yet fashionable I feel we are stepping into a new age of fashion, we are all trying new ways of being fashionable from color, to fur and prints.

Starting off with the real shade for this season the soft but not boring Grey and Calvin Klein, Doir Homme, lanvin and Phillip Lim showed us the classic ways they used the color in from head to toe like tailored suits and jackets , blazers and sweaters of all kinds.

As we get into the accent colors Blue, navy, mustard, burgundy and orange, you all should know by now I love color and Rag & Bone, Fedni, ALexander McQueen and Louis Vuitton give just that in very tailored suits ( as you can see so far tailoring will forever be apart of mens fashion ) trench coats and leather jackets. I think they made good choices with choosing more put together taliored looks with the pops of autumnal colors.

Tartan, check, houndstooth and Prince of Wales fabrics are a big trend this season. Oversize, optical or classic, we see designer like Dries Van Noten, Saint Laurent, Vivinenne Westwood and Etro edging them into most elements on the runway, coats, suits, shirts and tops.  Sometimes unusual colour combinations or uses propel these fabrics classic and fashion forward for the season. You definitely will see me wearing a few  of these looks this fall my own way.

Fur Fur Fur has made it's way back again for the season as it always does but more then every in new ways in men fashion Saint Laurent, Valentino, Etro, and Gucci gave us unconventional ways such as mixes of different types of fur prints which allows for a varied choice.

I have always and will always be a big fan of leather. Another good edgy piece for fall. Givenchy, Fendi, Valentino and Maison Martin Margiela give us various colors of leather jackets, inserts, shirts oversize coats, trenches and trousers.

Sportswear has been going really strong this year in all collections as it always does. kenzo, Issey Miyake, Vivienne Westwood and Mugler give a few looks for the trend with crewneck, big oversized trench cost, bubble zip ups and pants of different types. this is also I clean version of a highend street look.

I think one of the biggest successful trends of the season will be knitwear . A great easy grab and go piece. Seen on runways from designer like Mugler, Kris Van Assche, Maison Martin Margiela and Burberry Prosum Wools like nice cashmere sweaters with texture and patterns with unique techniques.

Lavin, Balenciga, Damir Doma and Dolce & Gabbana gave something for the more New and Different individuals there were many Unconventional tops . Boxy, jewel encrusted, or maxi printed tops and even tops on t shirts for the layered look.

Lets stay chic and fashion forward with all these great fashion trends.

What trends would you like to see this fall?
