Calvin Klein 2014 Resort Collection

Francisco Costa collaboration with artist Ellsworth Kelly for the Calvin Klein 2014 resort collection was nothing but GREATNESS! You may remember an earlier collab with the two with recreating a colorblock dress originally made by Kelly in 1952. Costa inspiration for the resort didn't come from the artist paintings this time around, but more from the artist studio itself from the wooden floors, tables and even the artist shoes (which always had paint splattered all over them). The 21 piece collection was nothing but relaxed simplicity shown with variety of tops that bared the midriff paired with floor length and knee high skirts which all were one shade of white, even with some of the more seventies inspired pieces with a few of the flowy pants, and denim wide leg jean and coats and also the fit and the wooden heels with the white, wintergreen, and blue cross over straps and sandals. Costa also touched on a era of when Calvin Klein became a household name with the ultrasuede used for the shirt dress and the long chic winter green coat with matching skirt with white top. Calvin Kleins girl is definitely a evening girl with a little edge if u ask me.
